The Age of Carpets (2025, 16mm, color, sound)

The carpets in houses are rising with everything else. They will have it their way, they will have their house of carpets, their cities. And we will lie down and let them cover us, we will stand stiff as uprights and let them grow heavy with dirt. We will say to each other the carpets are coming, we will say roll out your long red tongue, this carpet is important. And we will groan and moan and stay silent.
